I put 12 volts on the starter solenoid, and the
engine cranked fine, so I thought that it must
be the switch in the handlebars. But I wasn't
completely convinced. I pulled the gas tank, and
pulled apart all of the connectors underneath it,
wiggled them, and put them back on. I tried it
again, and BAM, it started. I put the tank back
on, and I've been riding it a week now with no more
starting problems.
